I'm poooped!


Full time work and school is challenging to balance. I honestly shouldn't complain b/c I don't have big-big responsibilities like kids or dogs... but I sure am hoping that I didn't bite more than I can chew. Well, so far I have not needed to call in sick from work to finish any procrastinated school assignments. And so far my nerdy plan to stay one week ahead of schedule is working towards my advantage. But whenever I am asked to do overtime at work, my gullible response is always "yes". I think part of me feels like they wouldn't be asking unless they really needed the extra help... and then another part of me wants to take advantage of any overtime for the big bucks. With plans to buy a house this year, I want to take any opportunity I can to save moola. But then my school assignments start to back up and I find myself getting pooped more and more. Anyway, it's just this one year... hopefully by the end of this year, I will have completed my courses and will be sitting in a new home enjoying my accomplishments. That's motivating!! Small sacrifices now for greater benefits in the future!
